Watervliet Public Schools

The boys wrestling team was in Battle Creek today, participating in the All City team tournament at BC Central. As a team the Panthers went 1-4, defeating Benton Harbor but falling to Comstock, Bangor, BC Central, and BC Lakeview. JT Isbrecht was undefeated on the day, pinning two of his opponents, winning by tech fall (17-1), and winning his final match 11-7. Josh Koch won two matches, both by pins, and Donald Milham earned his first victory of the season, pinning his Comstock opponent in the 2nd period. Both the boys and girls will next hit the mats at Kalamazoo Central High School next weekend for the Ron Russo Classic.
