8th Grade Maroon takes down the Vikings of Bangor with some stingy defense and great rebounding effort. The Lady Panthers shut down the Bangor offense until the final minute of the first half, allowing two late baskets which made the halftime lead 19-5. After halftime the girls came fired up looking to extend their lead, and that is just what they did. 36-12 was the final. Amayah Payton came off the bench with some big energy and helped grab some huge rebounds and lead the Panthers with 4 rebounds. The Panthers once again had 8 scorers with McKinley Adams leading the way with 18, Alexa Cruz had 6, while Kinzler, Bartee, Payton, Pratt, Apreza, and Zyla all had 2. The second win of the night moves the Lady Panthers to 3-0 to start their season.
